For this activity we needed to make a web made of paper and a spider also made of paper, first step was to watch a video in order to make a web, next we needed to watch another video explaing how to make a spider out of a toilet roll but we didn’t have any so we made it out paper following the same exact steps.
3 Facts:
- Did you know spider webs are really strong, sticky nets made of liquid silk that spiders use to catch food, build homes, and even travel.
- Spider silk is lighter than cotton but stronger than steel and incredibly stretchy, like a mix of steel and rubber.
- Some spiders eat their old webs to reuse the protein, saving energy and getting nutrients back.
